What is a 'Winnings Boost'?
From time to time, we may offer a promotion for Sports Betting called a 'Winnings Boost' which allows you to boost your winnings by a predetermined percentage. This means rather than receiving the standard returns on your bet, we give you that little bit extra on top. The amount at which your winnings are boosted depends on the offer, and these are normally only available for specific markets or events. Here's some answers to popular questions about our 'Winnings Boost' offers:
How do I use my 'Winnings Boost'?
If you've been lucky enough to receive a 'Winnings Boost' offer from us, it will show up in your betslip when you've added a qualifying bet. If, for example, the boost was on a Premier League Bet Builder with 3 or more legs at minimum odds of 2.00 (Evens), you'd need to add a qualifying bet to your betslip, check the box to apply your 'Winnings Boost' and then your returns will be boosted if/when the bet pays out.
How are my extra winnings calculated?
Remember that the 'Winnings Boost' offer only applies to the winnings portion of your bet, not the total returns. If for example you placed a £10 bet at 10/1 which would return £110, only £100 of that total return is winnings, with the remainder being your stake. In this example, the £100 would be boosted to say £125 for a 25% Winnings Boost, and your total return would be £135 with your stake also returned to you.
Here's a few examples of Winnings Boosts and the extra returns you would see from a £10 bet:
Original Odds | Total Returns | Total Winnings | Boost Offer | New Returns |
11/10 (2.10) | £21 | £11 | 25% | £23.75 |
6/4 (2.50) | £25 | £15 | 30% | £29.50 |
5/1 (6.00) | £60 | £50 | 20% | £70 |
20/1 (21.00) | £210 | £200 | 10% | £230 |
The odds on my betslip don't seem to be correct after I apply a 'Winnings Boost'...
While we do our best to display accurate odds on the betslip that reflect your returns, sometimes the addition of a 'Winnings Boost' can mean that the returns themselves don't reflect actual odds available. For this reason, odds shown on your betslip when applying a 'Winnings Boost' may not reflect the actual returns, but rest assured that the total returns displayed are reflective of the actual amount you will receive.
Can I cash out a 'Winnings Boost'?
Cash out may be available on bets that have a 'Winnings Boost' applied to them, however, in the event that the market is available for cash out, the amount shown will exclude the winnings. Any cashed out bets will not have an additional boost applied to them.
When are my extra winnings applied?
Your extra winnings will be applied when the bet is settled, so there's no need to wait around. The amount that the bet returns will be inclusive of any 'Winnings Boost' that you applied on the betslip.
