What is a 'Bet-Builder'?
A bet builder allows you to merge different selections from the same event to enhance your odds. You can combine various bets into a single betslip, so long as those selections are not logically connected.
This means that you can combine markets such as a team to win, a player to score, the number of goals and the number of corners - all bundled into one bet.
If you've got any questions about Bet Builders and how to use them, we've got answers to some of the most popular questions below.
I've received a free Bet Builder - how do I use it?
If you've been credited with a free Bet Builder as part of a promotion and you're new to Sports betting, fear not, we've got you covered! There's a few important things you'll need to know:
- For your free bet to appear, you need to add an eligible bet to your betslip! - to do this, just find an eligible event (you can view all of the requirements by going to My Bets > My Rewards), and add a few markets that meet the qualifying criteria by selecting them. When there have been enough selections added and the odds requirements have been met, your free bet will show that it is available to be used.
- Why did I not receive a free Bet Builder? - You may have received one and may not be aware. Just head to My Bets > My Rewards to check if you've received a free Bet Builder. These offers are generally only sent to specific customers however so it may be the case that you have not received one on this occasion.
- Remember there will be requirements such as minimum odds and specific events - check the My Bets > My Rewards section and you'll be able to see the minimum odds requirement and the events that the Bet Builder can be used on.
- You can't combine Bet Builders across multiple games - remember that any free Bet Builders we offer can only be used on one specific game from the eligible list. You can't combine Bet Builders across multiple fixtures.
- There is no cash out! - We won't be able to offer you a cash out while the bet is running.
- The stake is not returned - If you're lucky enough to win your bet, the free bet is not returned as part of your winnings. This means that a £1 free bet at odds of 10/1 would return £10 instead of the usual £11 if the bet were placed with cash.
What markets can I use in my Bet Builder?
Most markets we offer are available to use in your Bet Builder, so it's easier just to try and add them. If you add a market which conflicts with something you've previously added, or can't be used as part of a Bet Builder, the Betslip will show a warning to that effect.
An example of markets you wouldn't be able to combine are:
- Team A to win and Team B to win
- Over 2.5 Goals and Under 2.5 Goals
- A player to score and the same player Under 0.5 shots on target (the player would have to hit the target to score!)
How long does it take for my Bet Builder to pay out?
As with all bets placed with us. we'll always do our best to settle your Bet Builder as soon as possible. This is normally within a few hours of the event ending. For more obscure markets such as shots / tackles / fouls / assists, this can take a little longer as we have to wait for confirmation of the result from our supplier.
I selected a player in my Bet Builder who never took part in the game, what happens to my bet?
Regardless of whether the remaining selections go on to win or lose, if you've selected a player market in your Bet Builder and that player played no part in the game, the whole bet will be voided and your stake will be returned. This includes any stats markets such as shots, tackles, fouls etc and also includes markets such as player to be booked or to score.
If your Bet Builder was funded by a free bet that was credited to your account, the void bet won't be returned as part of your balance but will simply re-appear in the My Bets > Rewards section and will be available to use when you add eligible markets to your Betslip again. The same qualifying criteria will apply as your original free bet.
