What is Smart Sub?
Smart Sub means you won't automatically lose your bet just because your chosen player is substituted. If they're taken off the pitch, we'll automatically switch your bet to the player who comes on in their place.
Your bet stays alive until the final whistle.
How do I know if Smart Sub applies to my bet?
Look out for the Smart Sub badge on your bet slip. Smart Sub is available on selected leagues and competitions, so not every match will have it.
Which markets does Smart Sub apply to?
Smart Sub applies to the following markets:
- First Goalscorer
- Scorer of Goal 2, 3, 4 or more
- Anytime Goalscorer

Does Smart Sub apply to bets placed before and during the match?
Yes, Smart Sub applies to bets placed both pre-match and in-play.
Please note: Smart Sub only applies to regular time. Extra time and penalties are excluded.
