Darts Betting Guide
New to betting on Darts? We've got everything you need to know below including explanations of some of the popular markets for betting as well as important rules it's worth knowing before placing your bet.
Popular Markets
Outright Bets - Bets placed on the outright winner of the tournament in question.
Match Bets - Bets placed on the winner of an individual match between two players.
Over / Under Bets - Normally placed on legs or sets, depending on the format of the match, this bet involves predicting whether the total number of legs or sets are over or under a certain value.
Handicap bets - Bets placed on the winner of the match but with a leg or set handicap applied. For example, if a bet were placed on Player A -6.5 legs and they won the match 13-4 then this bet would be a winner.
Other Markets
Correct Score - Bets placed on the correct score either within a set or on the match. This normally involves predicting the exact number of legs or sets each player will win.
Total 180's - Bets placed on either the total number of 180's thrown in the match, or by each player. Bets are settled on the official result.
Highest Checkout - Bets placed on either the highest checkout by an individual player or the highest checkout in the match. Bets are settled on the official result.
Important Rules to Know
Retirement - if a player retires during the match then all bets where the outcome can be determined will be settled accordingly, however if a result cannot be determined from the current score, these bets will be voided.
Highest Checkout / Most 180's - in order for these bets to win, the player in question must get a higher value than their opponent. If the result is a tie, bets are settled as losers.
