Part of our commitment to Responsible Gambling involves Spend Limits, which allow you to control the amount of money you can spend on our sites within a chosen time frame. Spend Limits are designed to help you stay in control of your spending. Below are answers to some common questions about how Spend Limits work.
How do I set a Spend Limit?
You can set a Daily, Weekly or Monthly Spend Limit by going to:
My Account > Play Responsibly > Spend Limits.
You may also see the option to set a Spend Limit on the Deposit page when making your first deposit with us.
A Spend Limit is the maximum amount you can deposit within the selected time period. It is calculated using your net deposits, which means your total deposits minus any withdrawals made during that same period.
For example, if you set a £20 Spend Limit, deposit £20 and then withdraw £10, you will still have £10 remaining available within your limit.
You can always spend less than your selected limit. The limit simply sets the maximum net amount you can deposit within the chosen time period.
How long does a Spend Limit last?
Your Spend Limit will remain active until you choose to change or remove it.
Daily Spend Limits reset each day at midnight.
Weekly and Monthly Spend Limits operate on a rolling basis starting from the date the limit was set. For example, if you set a Weekly Spend Limit on a Wednesday, it will reset each Wednesday.
How do I change my Spend Limit?
You can change your Spend Limit at any time by visiting:
My Account > Play Responsibly > Spend Limits.
Whether a change takes effect immediately depends on the type of change you are making.
- Decreasing your limit amount will take effect immediately.
- Changing to a longer time period (for example from Daily to Weekly) will also take effect immediately.
- Increasing your limit amount requires a 24‑hour cooling‑off period.
If you request an increase to your Spend Limit, the change will become available after 24 hours. At that point you will need to confirm the change on the Deposit page for it to take effect.
This cooling‑off period is a responsible gambling safeguard which gives you time to reconsider the change before it becomes active.
